Due to the colour and finish, gloss boards have the tendency to show up any slight imperfections in the surface such as extrusion lines, shading marks and even dinks if the boards are not handled properly. (this can be a particular problem with the darker grey boards)

If you are looking for the most uniform of finishes you should choose the woodgrain foil option which is more of a satin finish.
